Join us in safeguarding our shores for future generations. From beach cleanups and dune grass planting to Critter Round Ups and community events, volunteers are at the heart of everything we do at Alliance for a Living Ocean.

Help keep our beaches clean by collecting trash and marine debris during ALO’s seasonal beach cleanups each spring and fall. If there is an upcoming beach cleanup opportunity, it will be linked here. If not, stay tuned for future updates and volunteer opportunities.
Beach Cleanup Volunteer:
Help pull the seining net during ALO’s summer Critter Round-Ups and support hands-on marine education. Volunteers must be at least 16 and comfortable walking in the bay and handling marine life.
Critter Round Up Seining Volunteer:
Help restore coastal dunes by planting native grasses that prevent erosion, support wildlife, and protect our shoreline.
