Beach Cleanups

At Alliance for a Living Ocean, we believe in the power of community to protect our planet. Our beach cleanups bring volunteers together to remove litter from Long Beach Island’s shoreline and help protect the ocean, wildlife, and coastal ecosystems we all depend on.

Whether you're a local resident or visiting LBI, everyone is welcome to get involved. Every piece of litter removed makes a difference in keeping our shores clean and healthy for future generations.

Our beach cleanups take place throughout the year, with opportunities announced as they become available. Check below for upcoming events, including the date, time, meeting location, and registration details.

Please register in advance!

Registering ahead of time helps us prepare enough supplies for everyone and gives us an accurate headcount. It also allows us to share important event updates if plans change.

If you're bringing friends or family, please make sure everyone is included in the registration so we can plan accordingly.

A registration link will be available when an upcoming cleanup is scheduled.
